The door threshold is often a barrier to people’s homes, even once inside the thresholds between one room and the next can be an obstacle. This is where level access thresholds come in whether it is an internal or external door.
Internal thresholds are relatively cheap and quick to do. Being made of either wood or aluminium.
External thresholds usual require a new door and frame and so are expensive, however they will allow anyone using a walking frame or wheelchair easy access.
All new doors will be fensa registered and meet part ‘M’
